Knowledge isn’t power. Intelligent action is power.

We stand on the backs of giants – We speak languages we didn’t invent, and travel on roads we didn’t pave. So too are most of the thoughts we have handed down to us, without needing to invent them ourselves.

If you want to have a good time speaking with teenagers, the elderly, hippies, and CEOs, you’d better learn to speak a few different languages.

You do less than you could and know more than you need. Millions of men choose to learn instead of doing, and they die quite unaccomplished and smart. Knowing isn’t doing and knowledge isn’t action. What you need isn’t more know-how, but more discipline. The value of knowledge comes only from the application.

When they were building Apple in a garage, they weren’t in college learning about how to build Apple. The coolest, most profitable things that have affected our lives, a lot of them were not designed at the end of a long bus ride. They were a short bus ride on a path that most people just didn’t take.

People love to think that there’s value in things that they don’t understand, which is useful disbelief because it amplifies the desire to understand that which you don’t. Curiosity pays great dividends. When I see something, and I don’t understand it, I want to understand it. Not even because I think that there’s great value in understanding it, it may be something stupid and trivial, but because I take pride in understanding things for the sake of understanding them, even if they’re a waste of time.

Teaching pride, excellence, and competition, those things affect everything, you should teach them first. If you don’t get those, if you don’t make people care, well then really, how hard do you think they’re going to work anywhere else? Discipline and motivation are the tides that rise all educational subjects ships.

Evolution only works on a long enough time horizon with a relatively infinite amount of energy.

You think the corporation is your friend, it’s not. Any collectivist group that you are not a part of, that you do not hold power over, is NOT your friend.

Some problems are not yours, there are problems of the past that you cannot influence, there are problems of the far future where you won’t be able to participate, and then there are the problems of today. So wondering about X is as useful as wondering about the white walkers, it’s fan fiction, nonrelevant, a poor thought experiment, and doesn’t lead to other discoveries.  So the less stupid fiction circle jerking that happens, the more useful thinking of solving problems can occur.

If more smart people dare to share their thoughts, more smart ideas will get advertised, and the world would be a better place. Instead, because of the Dunning Kruger effect, the dumb people think they are the smartest, they end up yelling the most, and we end up with a worse world.

The environment won’t be the thing that kills you, you’re not going to die of something interesting, or cool, you’re going to die because you’re a pussy bitch, like everyone before you did because you don’t do shit about it. You sit there and watch the reaper come and kill everyone you love, and you pretend it’s not happening.

Media is doomed because everyone wants their content for free. So their business is fucked. You’re never going to make any money running ads. If you’re trying to make money you have to cater to evildoers. And let your user get screwed over by evildoers. The only people that can pay you enough CPC or CPI for the limited users you have are evil-doers who are straight-up scams. Because that is the only thing that allows them enough profit to pay for expensive ads. So if you go to Youtube, What kind of ads do you see? Ads for binary options, ads for real estate scams, ads for ICO, all things where users lose all their money. So the only way to make money as a media company is to allow you, users, to get scammed by the scammer who is paying you.

Capitalism for wants and socialism for needs.

At the federal level in America, over 90% of the cases get settled and don’t see a court. That means something is wrong with your legal system. It means that either your penalty is so draconian and unfair that people get scared and settle. Or it means that you prosecutors are not attacking people aggressively enough to go to court.

MGTOW are fucking losers. People try to find their niche in life, jocks, nerds, goths, and MGTOW ranks lower than that. They are such losers that they are going to say, I’m going to stop wanting it. Then you get towards the state of Zen Buddhism.

Game theory is an interesting mix between psychology and mathematics that analyzes all the actions that conscious actors with the agency have. And all of how conscious beings can act, have a generic format, such as, “There is a winner, a loser, a tie, there is co-operation, there is antagonism, and you just permute all those different things, and ask yourself, how many different strategies are there. in this “game” with these types of participants. And if you do that often enough, you will find that the most effective strategy is tit for tat.  And you can discover that in yourself because human beings have this feeling of reciprocity.  That’s built into us in a deep biological manner. not just humans but also animals.

Credit is terrible for the individual but excellent for the entire system. It forces people to work overtime, because they are in debt, and cannot pay their bills. Making it so that everyone is more productive because they are being pounded to death by the debt. So the debt that is terrible for the individual, is good for the collective.

In theory, if you cared about the suffering of conscious beings, you should eat bigger beings. Because you have to harmless consciousnesses to do so.

Employees are better than friends

Pseudo law enforcement, meta law enforcement, law enforcement theatre, where you encumber everyone in the economy with additional checks and balances, paperwork that you never look at anyway. Is useless. Every time someone goes to jail it’s because they fucked up in some other way. Not because they filled out your paperwork.
