This is a living archive of my thoughts, experiences, and hard-earned insights, drawn from an unusual life. Here you’ll find reflections on the food I’ve eaten, the things I’ve bought, the people I’ve encountered, the places I’ve seen, the books I’ve read, the quotes I’ve kept, and the trends I’ve spotted and capitalized on.
I write this for you, my children, those already here and those yet to come. Daddy loves you more than words can hold. I want each of you to live lives you’re proud of. This is my thinking, in my own voice, left here for you to explore. I hope one day it proves useful.
If, by some unlikely chance, I’m gone before I can guide you in person, let this stand as a poor substitute. But in the more likely case that I’m still here, let this serve as an intellectual archive, a record that I held these convictions long before you were born. May that give weight to my words, and credibility to the wisdom I hope to pass on to you.

You’ll only see your parents a few more times. Remember: It’s later than you think. Most people don’t care about you. This is liberating. Most of your friends are not your friends. They’re just along for the ride when it’s profitable, fun, or convenient. Focus on family, and depth within a closed-knit circle rather than a…
In the quest to live a good life, each of us, consciously or implicitly, chooses an ultimate value around which to orient our life. I value my integrity.’ The abbess smiled. ‘Which is why it has a price.’ Money doesn’t matter when you’re bleeding. I know plenty. I’ve seen plenty. More than you can see from up here in your nice warm convent, paid for by all the people working down there in the city and out in the…

Mantra Sadhana – To practice the utterance of a sound with such intensity, fever, and determination that your whole being starts to vibrate with that sound. You are a lucky man, you get to piss away your daddy’s torture, on parties, and hookers, who quite honestly, serve a greater utility to society than you. They identify each other through plumage. We can’t define consciousness because consciousness does not exist. Humans fancy that there’s something special about the way we perceive the…
Knowledge isn’t power. Intelligent action is power. We stand on the backs of giants – We speak languages we didn’t invent, and travel on roads we didn’t pave. So too are most of the thoughts we have handed down to us, without needing to invent them ourselves. If you want to have a good time…
Ancient Cynicism vs. Modern cynicism. – The two are different, thus when referring to ancient Cynicism, scholars would capitalize a capital “C”. After every winter comes the spring, and every death is accompanied by the promise for more life. With his dying breath, Admiral Mitu Roso tried to save the children of Kiri Valley from wolves. On the night of the Lyucu assault, Souliyan Aragoz and Nméji Gon chose to buy more time for us with their own…
Every man always has handy a dozen glib little reasons why he is right not to sacrifice himself. If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the…
